2007 - just the one highlight so far. And here she is!

Katie Rose Bennett - born on 13th February at 10.55am at West Middlesex Hospital. She weighed in at 8lb 5oz. You can find some pretty sleepy looking photos, or an equally fatigued Katie on vid - don't worry it's on y a few seconds long. And then she wakes up albeit briefly, (videos may take around 30 seconds to download).

2006

Alexa and Gary got hitched at last. We ditched Jack at Jane's mums and both headed up to Grimsby. You simply can't beat a good wedding.

We packed up my redundancy troubles, replaced our old kit bag with a Ford Focus and sailed to France for a two week holiday. Of course The Marsdens acompanied us. As did Dave Barrow and Susan Hampshaw plus Thomas. Two weeks in a gite in Normandy. What bliss - if only it wasn't interrupted by a spot of Poulet Pox to Jack.

Summer was here and so was a torrential downpour. Little old Whitestile Road got flooded as anxious residents peered out of the their upstairs windows.

Big footie tournament, summer nights. It must be time for a drink-fuelled night out with Chris, Reggie and Lisa. Nobody mentioned that it was going to include Karaoke.

In May I met up with Sophie and Mel at a god-unearthly hour at heathrow to jet out to see Suki in Gibraltar. We spent the next three days being wined, being dined and chilling out. And then Sophie and I got a stomach bug. We think it was food poisoning because that sounds more dramatic.

Centre Parcs (invariably with The Marsdens) during the Half Term holidays in Ferbrary saw Jack get to know James and Rebecca a bit better.

We went to Bristol for the Easter weekend to see family. Try viewing the photographs as a slideshow.
